All of these paintings represent a fictionalized version of Arlington in the Prohibition Era of
the 1920’s. During the early 20th century, Arlington was an interesting mixture of rural
farms, some early suburban communities, and vacant lots, punctuated by urbanized centers
and industries; all of it interlaced with trolley lines and railroads. <read more>
